Following on from the successful importation of our superb Zanto (Big Zee of Kellaney) from Adriana and Zoltan in Serbia, I started to discuss the possibility of bringing in a female puppy that would further strengthen the bloodline at Tanyati. Looking at the many possibilities available I was delighted when Herra v.d.Cer Gebirge was mated to Jucar del Cabezo la Jara and a litter of 7 puppies arrived. I was given pick of the litter and after a few weeks one little girl stood out above all the other puppies, and on 27th July little Katie arrived in South Africa!

Katie has a melting expression, excellent head and a superb body, coupled with the most glorious deep rich red colour. Her temperament is amazing and she has settled in at Tanyati as if she was born here, spending her days trying to convince Zanto that she should be in charge! While we do not want to wish her puppyhood away, I cannot wait to include Katie in our breeding program. Being a solid fawn she will not produce white puppies and I have no doubt she will be an invaluable asset.
