The combination of Multiple Sire of the Year Ch Witherford Iced Mango BT (imp UK) and Showdog of the Year 2006 Ch Ramona's Double Delight of Tanyati produced a beautiful litter of 5 puppies: 2 brindles, 2 fawns and 1 white. From this outstanding litter I chose to keep Tanyati Vaguely Familiar (Maya), so named because of her uncanny resemblance to my very successful showgirl, Ch Tanyati Alabama. Maya's litter brother, Tanyati Visions of Prince Regis, is in Brazil with my good friend Eduardo Aguiar. Very lightly shown as a puppy, Maya amazed us by winning Best Puppy (under Spanish judge Mr. Rafael Malo Alcrudo) and Puppy Group 3 under Mrs Pat Scales of Australia at her very first KUSA championship show. At her first two championship shows in 2008 we are delighted to report that Maya was awarded her first CC on Saturday 26th April 2008 and her first RCC on Sunday 27th April 2008! She has followed this impressive start with a further 3 CC's and needs one more CC to qualify as a KUSA Champion!

Newsflash - March 2009. Needing only 1 more CC to become a KUSA Breed Champion, Maya did us proud by winning her 5th CC under Mrs S Limoges (Canada) on 28th March 2009 and her 6th CC under Mr S Buckley (Australia) on 29th March 2009!

"Attractive brindle/white bitch of excellent proportions and excellent breed type. Classic head, powerful muzzle, great pigmentation. Excellent neck blends into shoulder. Fore and hind angulation balanced. Correct, short back with strong level topline. Excellent on the move. Very pleasing bitch"
